Roundhouse is synonymous with good design and we love to find products that work seamlessly with our bespoke kitchens. One such company we’ve worked with for some time is New Zealand appliance manufacturer, Fisher & Paykel.

Recently a group of 45 invitees from all corners of the world, including our own Kiwi Robyn Gifford, were invited to the 2013 Fisher & Paykel International Conference, held in Auckland, New Zealand.
Attendees were met with a traditional Maori welcome ceremony at the Auckland factory where the French door refrigerators that are so popular in many Roundhouse bespoke kitchens are manufactured – 100% NZ combined with the best of British! A fusion that UK resident, Peter Gordon, renowned Kiwi chef patron of Providores and a number of other award winning reataurants in London and New Zealand and proud owner of a new Roundhouse bespoke kitchen, knows all about. Peter’s new kitchen is the third Roundhouse kitchen he’s had; we can ask for no higher recommendation!
Roundhouse have been fans of Fisher & Paykel for years and its not just because the Sales Manager Robyn is a Kiwi! We love the innovative, design-led products – the DishDrawer Dishwasher and Cool Drawer Refrigerators are unique and beautifully integrate with our Urbo kitchens.
The Cool Drawer is the perfect place to store opened jars, chill a bottle of NZ Sauvignon or even be an extra ice-cream freezer – with five zones they can be all things from freezer to wine cooler. If you’d like to see the Cool Drawer you’ll find it on display in our Islington and Fulham showrooms.
Fisher & Paykel are embarking on major global expansion, introducing new ovens and compact appliances especially designed with the UK market in mind – we look forward to using them.
