Concrete chic in Wigmore Street

Whenever new materials and installations are unveiled in our showrooms, it always causes excitement among the Roundhouse team. The latest addition to the flagship Wigmore Street showroom is no exception. We have had to be patient through the evolutionary process, which took place over a period of about three weeks, eventually revealing two new materials.
After the framework was built and ready for the work surface, a template was created and the concrete was mixed on site and poured in. It then had to go off for a couple of weeks before it was polished – we think you’ll agree it was well worth the wait!
The Urbo cabinetry is in the new ‘Driftwood’ finish in a limed oak with the textural appeal of sea-washed wood – a perfect juxtaposition with the smooth industrial-chic, polished concrete work surface, with its inset stainless steel sink, induction hob and recessed gas hob.  You can see the finished bespoke kitchen on display in the Wigmore Street showroom – it’s already proving popular with our clients.
