Fabulous and functional in Fulham

We love visiting our completed bespoke kitchens and meeting their owners. It’s really gratifying to see how much pleasure a new Roundhouse kitchen can bring and how it can truly transform a space. We recently visited a house in Fulham, where the homes are lovely but can be compact and where the young family who bought the property faced a challenge to maximise the space. Together with Roundhouse designer Jim McCabe, they have created a fabulous, functional kitchen, which really makes the most of the limited space.
The matt lacquer Metro bespoke kitchen is in Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone, a subtle shade that helps lighten the room, with a slim composite work top and a mushroom glass splash back.  Jim also managed to incorporate a small oak breakfast bar and box shelves, which helps define the kitchen area. They have also added a handy black board wall for notes to help keep this busy family organised.
Good storage is key in any kitchen but especially so in one where space is at a premium and Jim has also created a run of cupboards and incorporated a large fridge freezer – this kitchen truly is in Tardis territory!
