A new Roundhouse kitchen for Ottolenghi
Roundhouse bespoke kitchens are a favourite among chefs and we’ve completed several for some of the UK’s leading restaurateurs, but we were particularly delighted when one of our favourites, Yotam Ottolenghi, chose us to design his new kitchen.
We knew we shared a design aesthetic with Yotam when the Ottolenghi restaurant opened in Islington at the same time as our Upper Street showroom – we were blown away by the stylish interior even before we were able to try the fabulous food! The bespoke Urbo kitchen we designed in collaboration with Yotam and his family for their new home, features signature Roundhouse ‘friendly minimalism’.
We had great weather on the day of our shoot with architectural photographer Nick Kane, lovely spring sunshine and a perfect light in which to photograph the new kitchen (and their new Roundhouse wardrobes). The photos will feature in a new Roundhouse brochure we’ve just started working on, which will be launched later this year.
