Bulpitt Project Shortlisted for TIDA International Kitchen of the Year

Roundhouse bespoke kitchen, TIDA International Kitchen 2025 Finalist: fluted oak cabinetry, stone-matched splashback, marble island with integrated hob and tan leather bar stools

We are proud to share that our Bulpitt project has been recognised as a Finalist in the TIDA International Kitchen of the Year awards. This international recognition celebrates the strength of the design vision and craftsmanship behind this exceptional kitchen.

Natural oak handleless kitchen with vertical fluted timber wall panels, limestone splashback, and brushed brass tap in contemporary British interior

Located in Twickenham, the Bulpitt kitchen was created for a well travelled couple who wanted a calm, refined space rooted in materiality and detail. The brief called for a design that felt architectural yet warm, with subtle references to both Scandinavian and Asian interiors.

Contemporary pale oak kitchen island with book-matched marble waterfall edge, vaulted ceiling with skylight, bronze pendant lighting, black aluminium crittal-style doors overlooking landscaped courtyard, ceramic display pieces

At the heart of the kitchen is beautifully bookmatched oak veneer, enhanced with vertical and fluted detailing that introduces rhythm and texture across the cabinetry. The natural warmth of the timber is paired with leathered Taj Mahal quartzite worktops and splashbacks, adding depth and quiet luxury. Solid brass recessed edge pulls provide a subtle contrast and elevate the detailing further.

The layout was carefully considered to ensure the space functions effortlessly for modern living. Generous preparation areas, concealed storage and integrated appliances allow the kitchen to feel seamless and uncluttered. A bespoke TV panel and discreetly integrated cloakroom demonstrate the level of thought given to every element of the design.

This latest recognition follows significant industry success for the project. The Bulpitt kitchen was named Global Winner – Kitchen Design at the SBID Awards 2025 and also won Kitchen Design of the Year (Over £40K) at the Designerati Awards 2025.
