New Cheltenham showroom opens

Facing onto Imperial Square, the Roundhose Cheltenham showroom is an impressive 2,000sqft space with tall windows that wrap around the exterior of the corner plot, revealing the layout within to passers-by. The U-shaped interior is divided into three ‘rooms’ comprising of 10 modern kitchen and luxury wardrobe displays.

Roundhouse initially put down roots in Cheltenham’s Montpellier area fourteen years ago, however a recent move to the Promenade marks an exciting relaunch in the historic town. Dating back to 1818 at the height of the Regency period, the beautiful tree-lined avenue has since become a well-known shopping street.

‘Room’ one houses Wardrobe displays from both Studio and Design collections, allowing the client to directly compare the two, ‘room’ two showcases bespoke displays from the Design collection, while modular Studio kitchen and furniture displays can be found in ‘room’ three.

Displays in the bespoke Design Collection include a unique antique copper wrap split-level island, and a contemporary stained sawn oak island – a new finish that can only be found exhibited at the Cheltenham showroom. A patinated silver metal painted display boasts an extra wide Gaggenau oven and steam oven, while the Fulham Pantry in a modern in-frame design features a pull-out timber kitchen worktop, offering more surface to work.

Also showcased is the Nightingale cabinet, Urbo handless furniture with painted matt lacquer base cabinets, and a burnished bronze kitchen wall cabinet with electric bi-fold doors. A tall run of three pocket doors cleverly conceals a working Quooker boiling water tap with the Cube sparkling water system, a cocktail cabinet, and home study.

The Studio Collection on display includes a large bi-fold dresser, and a Classic painted kitchen with a contrasting concrete door effect on the wall cabinets.

Roundhouse’s extensive collection of contemporary kitchens and furniture can be discovered at the new Cheltenham showroom, giving insight into the quality of the craftsmanship and the various collections, styles and finishes on offer.
