The first of our bespoke colours in the Studio Collection, a warm elegant sage in Cardroom Green found in the Farrow & Ball archives. The contemporary kitchen pairs beautifully with the charmingly uneven reclaimed terracotta floor tiles, brass antique handles, and the black Nero Assoluto granite worktops. It was important to keep the space social, with breakfast bar and stools and a separate workspace above the wine cooler to make drinks whilst cooking activity is in full flow. The kitchen design has a seamless and tidy look with a flush gas hob and a very large sink great for hiding large pans before they are washed. The client is a keen baker, so there is plenty of workspace to roll pastry and house small appliances, and also a walk in pantry area for various dry ingredients. To help keep it feeling personalised, open shelving was also incorporated to showcase plants and beautiful objects the client had collected over time.
