London Design Festival

Phew! What a hectic couple of weeks. Not only have we been busy in the Roundhouse Wigmore Street showroom hosting our own London Design Festival event, where we launched new bespoke finishes and designer ceramics but we’ve also been out and about at the London Design Festival.
Roundhouse is a design-led company – we make a point of supporting new (and established!) British design talent. With this in mind we wore out our poor feet checking out the latest designs and innovations at Tent London, Design Junction and 100% Design last week and we’re so glad we made the effort. We were really impressed by exciting new designers, work by old friends and were particularly pleased to note the resurgence of British design and manufacturing.
We saw many old friends; architect Peter Morris, who offered free advice, Quooker hosted a welcome coffee bar and showed their designs in collaboration with leading British designer Nick Munro, and designers Ikuku Iwamoto and Stuart Carey whose work we’ve shown in our showroom having spotted them at the Royal College of Art.
We took lots of inspirational photographs and here we’ve picked out just a few highlights.
