Luxury Bespoke Kitchen by Roundhouse Design at Domus
In September 2024, Domus, UK’s market leading consultant and supplier of tiles and engineered flooring, opened doors to the Hosting Kitchen – a newly curated space within its renovated Battersea showroom, designed to host a range of inspirational product showcases, social gatherings, and educational events tailored for architects and designers. The space is the result of a collaboration with Roundhouse Design and the acclaimed design studio, Designed by Woulfe.
Roundhouse Design’s contribution to the Hosting Kitchen centres on the well-equipped and fully operational bespoke kitchen, which serves as the space’s focal point.
Complemented by cutting-edge Gaggenau appliances, including a vented hob on a large central island, the bespoke kitchen is perfectly suited for live cooking demonstrations, making it a dynamic centrepiece for engaging events.
A matching bar area showcases a full-height integrated Gaggenau wine cabinet. Unique to Roundhouse Design, the centrepiece kitchen island and bar area are finished in hand-patinated bronze lacquer, complemented by a custom-stained bookmatched oak veneer back run making this kitchen design modern and luxurious.
Domus are showcasing their Florim Yamuna for the worktops and wall cladding, a porcelain worktop mimicking natural Taj Mahal stone, with Florim Eccentric Luxe Caramel in the bar area. Armac Martin also contributed with their bronze handles, enhancing the organic, luxurious palette with ribbed details that echo the fluted ceiling lights.
Brian Woulfe designed the rest of the space, creating a complete apartment setup with banquette seating, Cameron Design House lighting, and a coffee table by others. A bespoke Roundhouse Design kitchen serves as a striking feature wall in the Domus showroom.
