Q. Why did the chicken cross the kitchen?
Maintaining our trademark advertising using client’s kitchens and featuring their lovely pets takes time and patience but the payoff is getting a great photograph. We took the idea to a whole new level recently and photographed not just one animal but three; big dog Holly, adorable puppy Hebe and obliging chicken Matilda.
We were in a fabulous new extension to a former rectory in Hampshire, photographing a gorgeous matt lacquer Urbo kitchen, with stunning striped Mango wood. It was our lovely client’s second Roundhouse bespoke kitchen, and she very kindly allowed us back to do the photography. She managed to talk the dogs into posing for the camera and Matilda who is the friendliest of hens decided she didn’t want to miss out. It was Hebe’s first encounter with a chicken and all behaved admirably, giving the lie to the (Roundhouse adapted) adage ‘never work with chickens or animals’. We didn’t expect to have three animals in shot – and we almost had four – the other chicken was just too busy laying eggs!
Look out for the fabulous threesome (and our lovely Urbo kitchen of course) in our up and coming advertising.
A. To be in the photograph of course…
