On Thursday 16th May we welcomed architects, designers and heritage enthusiasts to our Cambridge showroom for an illuminating talk on Becket’s Chapel, winner of the AABC Conservation Award at the 2025 Civic Trust Awards, presented in partnership with the Cambridge Association of Architects.

Patricia from The Architect Studio explored how thoughtful, modest interventions can bring new life to historic buildings, a philosophy that mirrors our own commitment to respectful yet innovative design. Attendees heard about the chapel’s conservation journey, the collaboration with client and community and the exciting proposals for a new extension to this Grade I listed medieval chapel in Wymondham, Norfolk.

After the presentation guests enjoyed refreshments while exploring our beautifully appointed showroom, exchanging ideas and networking with fellow professionals. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience how heritage and contemporary design come together to create simply beautiful living spaces.
