Roundhouse re-opens 15th June
Roundhouse has been affected as everyone in the Covid-19 crisis, our showrooms were closed, and we had to find new ways of working. Now we are adjusting to the new conditions we all find ourselves in. As the government eases lockdown, we are really excited that all our showrooms are now open, in line with the guidance issued. In fact, we’re going above and beyond the current directions, to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
We have carried out a full and comprehensive risk assessment, our staff have undergone comprehensive health and safety training, and our protocols have changed considerably.
Initially we are prioritising booked appointments; you can call the showroom you wish to visit and book an appointment and you will be contacted in advance to ensure correct procedures are followed. We will still be conducting Zoom meetings where possible, to avoid congestion in the showroom. These continue to be booked through our website here; Book a design consultation
How will a visit to a showroom work in practice?
The two-metre distance will be maintained and there are notices on display providing Government/NHS guidance on distancing and handwashing/hand sanitising. When you come in to the showroom you will be requested to remain just inside the door and wait for a designer to escort you in and around, and to use the hand gel provided. Gloves will be provided for clients and should be used when touching samples and surfaces in the showroom. Your designer will show you samples and displays and then move away so that you can take a really good look. Masks will also be available and may be used as requested, and of course we are very happy for you to use your own should you prefer.
We will be limiting the number of clients in showroom ensuring that distancing can be maintained. We politely request that clients do not bring children with them into the showroom. Customers passing by the showrooms will only be allowed in if numbers are not exceeded and distancing can be maintained.
We trust that all the measures we have implemented offer you reassurance that Roundhouse is committed to doing everything possible to ensure your safety and that of our staff and we very much look forward to welcoming you into to our beautiful (and in some cases) newly refurbished showrooms.
