25 Mar Roundhouse MD response to Coronavirus
You will by now be aware of the announcement by the government, and as of today and in line with the government guidance, we have taken the difficult but responsible decision to temporarily close down some of the daily functions of the business until further notice. We have been working hard to protect all of our customers and staff, as their welfare is paramount.
However, it has become increasingly obvious that we can no longer continue to work normally. Most business are now scaling back, and third-party suppliers are stopping deliveries, which is making it increasingly hard for us to operate. We cannot safely deliver kitchens as we cannot maintain government instructions to stay two metres apart and for this reason we have decided to scale back site work and have taken the difficult decision to stop deliveries with immediate effect. Customers that this directly affects have been contacted and the last remaining site works to support those customers identified as having the greatest need are being completed as a matter of urgency.
Our factory is currently operational but is obviously continuously under review. Our showrooms are all closed but designers can still be reached via the numbers on the relevant showrooms page on the website.
Unprecedented times have resulted in this drastic course of action, but I hope that all our clients will understand and work with us through this unsettled period until we can function normally again. Our sympathy goes out to all of our customers some of who will no doubt be inconvenienced by this decision. All I ask is that you accept our apologies and understand it is in all of our interests to adhere to the guidance set out by the government.
If you have any questions, please send an email to email@example.com and we will do our best to handle all enquiries remotely. The office is closed and unmanned, so please send queries via email which will be answered as soon as we can.
Many thanks for your continued support and patience during this exceptionally difficult period, and most importantly look after yourselves and your families.
Craig Matson, MD Roundhouse
